Who we are

NeenaVeda is a sole trader business operated by Neena, a certified face yoga teacher trained by Danielle Collins. We provide online face yoga sessions for women in midlife and menopause.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Neena (trading as NeenaVeda) is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website.

What data we collect and why

Contact form

When you submit the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests — it is in both your interest and ours to be able to respond to your message.

Session bookings

When you book a session through our booking system (TidyCal), TidyCal collects information necessary to process your booking, which may include your name, email address, and payment information. Please refer to TidyCal's Privacy Policy for details of how they handle your data.

Legal basis: Contract — processing is necessary to deliver the sessions you have booked and paid for.

Email correspondence

If you contact us directly by email, we will retain that correspondence for the purpose of responding to you and managing our ongoing relationship.

What we do not collect

This website does not use analytics software, advertising trackers, or any third-party tracking cookies. We do not collect any special category data (such as health information) unless you choose to share it with us directly in a message or session.

How we store and protect your data

Contact form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, the platform that hosts this website. Netlify is based in the United States and transfers data under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses). You can read Netlify's Privacy Policy here.

Email correspondence is held within our Gmail account, operated by Google LLC. Google processes data under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.

We take reasonable steps to keep your personal data secure and will never share it with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

How long we keep your data

• Contact form enquiries — retained for up to 12 months from the date of your message, or until the enquiry is resolved, whichever is sooner.
• Session booking and payment records — retained for up to 6 years in line with standard UK financial record-keeping requirements.
• Email correspondence — retained for up to 12 months unless there is an ongoing client relationship, in which case for the duration of that relationship plus 12 months.

After these periods, data will be deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data where there is no compelling reason to continue processing it.
• Right to restriction — you can ask us to pause processing of your data in certain circumstances.
• Right to data portability — you can ask for your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Right to object — you can object to us processing your data on the basis of legitimate interests.
